春节之后超级大乐透第一期开奖没有送出头奖，不过奖池随之轻松跨越3亿元大关。奖池3亿是个里程碑，因为大乐透的最高中奖纪录是2.84亿元，每当奖池突破3亿，也就意味着创造历史的时刻已经来临。4 t5 s6 U+ p4 y* }, q" q! N

超级大乐透于2007年5月28日正式上市，因为头奖能够“超越500万”成为彩市明星，其中的关键词就是“奖池过亿”，当时彩民对亿元奖池更是望眼欲穿。因为首期奖池注入8000万元，一个月后大乐透奖池就首次突破亿元大关，也吹响了“超级大乐透、超越500万”的号角。

$ E1 I5 L$ p/ q$ _不过在当时的规则限制下，奖池很难进一步提升，过亿元的次数并不多。2009年10月大乐透的规则进行优化调整，改为奖池过亿后，2元能中1000万、3元冲击1600万。“超级大乐透、圆你千万梦”极大地引发了彩民的投注热情，亿元奖池也成为家常便饭，2010年大乐透的奖池有近一半期数维持在亿元以上，还在10月11日首次突破了1.5亿元大关。

超级大乐透的真正爆发是从2011年开始的。自从1月19日回归亿元之后，大乐透奖池就一路高涨，创造了一个又一个纪录：2月16日首次突破2亿大关，3月30日首次突破3亿大关，5月14日首次突破4亿大关，累积的速度让人瞠目结舌。随着亿元大派送活动的开始，5月18日大乐透创造了当时的彩市最高奖池纪录——4.26亿。
